Description

A comforting and hearty dish combining ground beef, vegetables, and creamy gravy, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • 1 package of frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
  • Mashed potatoes for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onions over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. If using, add the frozen mixed vegetables to the beef mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. If desired, sprinkle cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
  8. Serve over mashed potatoes.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding garlic or your favorite herbs. Use lean ground beef and add more vegetables for a healthier option.
