Description

A comforting and hearty dish combining spaghetti and cheese, perfect for busy families.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain it.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Season it with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Drain any excess fat from the cooked ground beef.
  5. Mix the cooked spaghetti, marinara sauce, browned beef, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese in a large bowl.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added nutrition, mix in cooked vegetables like bell peppers or spinach. You can also swap the ground beef for turkey or sausage.
