Description

A comforting and hearty beef stew packed with rich flavors and tender meat, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add beef cubes and brown on all sides.
  3. Remove beef and set aside.
  4. In the same pot, add onions and garlic, sautรฉ until fragrant.
  5. Stir in tomato paste, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  6. Return beef to the pot and add carrots and potatoes.
  7. Pour in beef broth, bring to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 90 to 120 minutes or until beef is tender.
  9. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the beef in red wine before cooking. Adjust seasoning to your taste and feel free to add other vegetables.
