- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup brown butter, melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together the melted brown butter, mashed bananas, sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Stir in the baking soda and salt.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
Notes
Make sure your bananas are very ripe for the sweetest flavor. You can add nuts for extra crunch or switch chocolate chips for dried fruits.
