Delightful crescent rolls filled with pecan pie filling and drizzled with a sweet caramel glaze, perfect for any dessert occasion.

- 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toast the pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until they smell good. Chop them and set aside.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Brush each triangle with melted butter.
- In a bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, beaten egg, vanilla, and salt until well integrated.
- Place 1 tablespoon of the pecan filling at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling completely.
- Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches between them.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until they turn golden brown and are cooked through.
- While the rolls bake, whisk together the powdered sugar, melted butter, and cream for the glaze.
- Drizzle the warm rolls with the caramel glaze before serving.
Notes
Serve these rolls warm, with or without extra toasted pecans on top. They can also be enjoyed with ice cream.
