Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  4. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss in the buttery garlic sauce.
  7. Slice the chicken and serve it over the buttered noodles. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
