Description

A delightful treat combining the natural sweetness of ripe bananas and rich chocolate chips, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  6. Stir in the flour until just incorporated.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm or at room temperature. Add butter or cream cheese for extra flavor.
