Description

Delicious brownies topped with fresh strawberries and drizzled with melted chocolate, offering a perfect blend of rich and fruity flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease an 8ร—8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually incorporate flour until just combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  4. Allow brownies to cool completely before topping with sliced strawberries.
  5. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in increments of 30 seconds until smooth. Drizzle over the strawberries.
  6. Refrigerate for about an hour before slicing into squares.

Notes

Use ripe but firm strawberries so they hold shape. Let brownies cool fully so the fruit and chocolate do not slip.
