Description
Deliciously rich chocolate brownies topped with melted chocolate and fresh strawberries.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup strawberries, chopped
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the brownies are cooling, melt the chocolate chips with the vegetable oil in a microwave or double boiler.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled brownies and top with more strawberries if desired.
- Let it set before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Let brownies cool fully before adding chocolate. Use ripe but firm strawberries to avoid extra water.
