			- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for whipped ganache)
- 1 cup heavy cream (for whipped ganache)
Instructions
- For Chocolate Ganache Glaze: In a medium heatproof bowl, combine 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/3 cup of heavy cream. Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water or microwave for about 30 seconds. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using as a glaze.
- For Whipped Chocolate Ganache: In a medium heatproof bowl, combine 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 cup of heavy cream. Place over simmering water or microwave for about 30 seconds, stirring until smooth. Allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Whip with a hand mixer until light and fluffy.
Notes
Use good quality chocolate for the best flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
