Description

A delicious dessert blending churro and cheesecake flavors, perfect for sharing with friends and family.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ยฝ cup granulated sugar
  • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ยพ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1ยฝ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. Mix 1 tablespoon cinnamon with ยฝ cup sugar in a small bowl. Set aside.
  3. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch pan. Lay one dough sheet in the pan and press seams to seal.
  4. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and ยพ cup sugar until smooth. Add the egg and 1ยฝ teaspoons vanilla and beat until mixed.
  5. Spread the cheese mix over the dough in the pan.
  6. Place the second dough sheet on top and pinch the edges to close.
  7. Brush the top dough with 3 tablespoons melted butter.
  8. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mix over the top.
  9. Bake for 25โ€“30 minutes or until the top is golden and the center is set.
  10. Cool on a rack for 1 hour, then chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  11. Cut into squares and serve cold.

Notes

Dust with more cinnamon sugar if desired. Serve with coffee, tea, or a scoop of ice cream.
