- 1 lb chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cream or milk
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, combine shredded chicken and ranch seasoning.
- Add the cream cheese and stir until melted and combined.
- Slowly mix in cream or milk, and allow to thicken slightly.
- Stir in the cooked penne and cheddar cheese until well mixed.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For a twist, try adding mushrooms or peas. Use warm cream to help the cream cheese melt fast.
