Description

Delicious meatballs in a rich mushroom cream sauce, perfect for family dinners or entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add onions and garlic, sautรฉ until translucent.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until soft.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, stirring gently, and bring to a simmer.
  6. Return meatballs to the skillet, cover, and cook for about 10 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add herbs like thyme or oregano to the meatball mixture. Use Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
