Description

A delightful dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a rich, creamy mushroom sauce that’s perfect for any night of the week.


Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 cups Spinach
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and onions; sautรฉ until fragrant.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
  5. Stir in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. Reduce heat, add heavy cream, and let it simmer to thicken.
  7. Stir in spinach until wilted.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  9. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and serve hot.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh mushrooms. Adjust the amount of heavy cream for a richer sauce or experiment with herbs like thyme or rosemary.
