Description

Soft oat crumb bars filled with dark chocolate and fresh raspberries, offering a delightful mix of sweet and tart in every bite.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease an 8ร—8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread raspberries and dark chocolate chips evenly over the crust. Drizzle with lemon juice.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh raspberries. Store in an airtight box at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days. Freeze for up to 1 month.
