Description

Delicious Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls blend the nutty flavor of pecans with sweet brown sugar and maple syrup, making them an easy and delightful snack or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, maple syrup, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  4. Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a clean surface. You should have two rectangles.
  5. Pinch the seams together to create a solid sheet. Cut each rectangle into 4 triangles.
  6. Place about a tablespoon of the pecan filling at the wide end of each triangle.
  7. Starting at the wide end, roll each triangle towards the point to form a crescent shape. Pinch the ends to seal them.
  8. Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, toast the pecans lightly before mixing. You can substitute other nuts or add chocolate chips for variation.
