Ingredients

  • 1 roll Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Light Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter (Melted)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Reserved Sugar Mixture

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (180ยฐC).
  2. Open the roll of crescent dough. Unroll it and lay it flat on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix the chopped pecans, sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Stir well until everything is combined.
  4. Spoon the pecan mixture onto the wider end of each crescent roll piece.
  5. Roll up each piece tightly, starting from the wide end, and seal the edges.
  6. Place the rolls on the baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  7. Brush the tops of the rolls with the reserved sugar mixture.
  8. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let the rolls cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use fresh pecans for the best flavor. You can make them dairy-free by using margarine and a flax egg.
