Description

Delightful pecan pie bars with a buttery crescent roll crust and gooey filling, perfect for gatherings and simple treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 Tbsp butter or margarine (melted)
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg (beaten)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยบF and line a 9×13-inch pan with foil, leaving enough for a 2-inch overhang on all sides.
  2. Unroll the dough, separate it into 2 long rectangles, and place them in the pan. Press the dough over the bottom and 1/2 inch up the sides to form a crust. Firmly press the dough perforations to seal.
  3. Bake for 8 minutes.
  4. Combine all filling ingredients except for 3/4 cup of the pecans in a bowl and mix well. Stir in the remaining pecans.
  5. Spread the filling evenly over the hot, partially baked crust.
  6. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until the filling is set and golden brown.
  7. Cool for about 1 hour, then cut into bars.

Notes

Serve at room temperature or chilled. Pair with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for indulgence.
