- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir in the chopped pecans.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture on the wider end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough from the wide end to the point to form a crescent shape.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush with a beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
