Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and shredded cheese.
- Form the mixture into small balls or bites.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Roll each bite in flour, dip in egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the bites in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Chill the formed bites for at least 30 minutes before breading for better shape retention.
