- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy in another bowl.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Swirl in the gochujang and caramel sauce, being careful not to overmix.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with ice cream or alongside tea or coffee. Store in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for up to one month.
