- 1 can of crescent rolls
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent dough on a lightly floured surface and separate the dough into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
- Place the crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar if desired. Enjoy!
