Description

Gooey Pecan Pie Crescents bring a tasty twist to classic pecan pie, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of crescent rolls
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough on a lightly floured surface and separate the dough into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
  6. Place the crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar if desired. Enjoy!
