Description

Deliciously fudgy brownie cookies with a chewy texture, packed with chocolate chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture until well combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding nuts or a tablespoon of espresso powder for a mocha twist.
