Description

Halloween Chocolate Pretzel Spider Webs are glossy, crunchy, no bake treats made with pretzel sticks, melted chocolate, and a spooky white chocolate drizzle perfect for classroom parties, movie nights, and last minute Halloween spreads.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz (455 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 8 oz (225 g) white chocolate (for drizzle)
  • 10 oz (285 g) mini pretzel sticks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 12 tsp neutral oil (only if needed to thin chocolate)
  • Candy eyes and Halloween sprinkles (optional)
  • Pinch of fine sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment. For each web, arrange 6–8 pretzel sticks like spokes with tips touching in the center.
  2. Microwave semi sweet chocolate in short 20–30 second bursts at 50% power, stirring between bursts until smooth. Stir in vanilla; add a little neutral oil only if thick.
  3. Spoon about 1 tablespoon melted chocolate into the center of each pretzel star and nudge so it spreads and connects the spokes; tap tray to level.
  4. Melt white chocolate until smooth. Transfer to a piping or zip-top bag; snip a tiny tip. Pipe a spiral from center outward, then add short connecting lines to mimic a web.
  5. Decorate with candy eyes and sprinkles while wet; finish with a tiny pinch of sea salt if desired. Chill 10–15 minutes to set, then peel off parchment and serve.

Notes

  • Use melting wafers or finely chopped bar chocolate for the shiniest finish.
  • Color the drizzle with oil-based candy coloring for orange, purple, or black accents.
  • Make-ahead: store layers between parchment in an airtight container up to 4 days. For sharp lines, add the white drizzle the day you serve.
  • Allergy swaps: gluten-free pretzel sticks, dairy-free chocolate, and dye-free sprinkles all work well.
