These Homemade Bakery Style Brownies are deep chocolate, soft, and rich, perfect for any occasion.

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9ร13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter.
- Add the sugar to the melted butter and mix well.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder together.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mix little by little, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20โ25 minutes. A toothpick should come out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
Serve warm for soft crumbs. You can add toppings like vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of hot chocolate.
