Description

These Homemade Bakery Style Brownies are deep chocolate, soft, and rich, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9ร—13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter.
  3. Add the sugar to the melted butter and mix well.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
  5. In another bowl, whisk the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder together.
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mix little by little, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 20โ€“25 minutes. A toothpick should come out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve warm for soft crumbs. You can add toppings like vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of hot chocolate.
