- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey and Dijon mustard.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken and cook until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Pour the honey-mustard sauce over the chicken and simmer for an additional 5 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve the chicken over cooked rice.
Notes
For extra flavor, drizzle leftover sauce over the chicken when serving. Add steamed vegetables or a fresh salad as a side.
