Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the honey and butter in a bowl.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Mix the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing well.
  6. Drop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add raisins, nuts, or chocolate chips. Use room temperature butter for better mixing.
