This rich and fun Ice Cream Cake combines layers of cake and chocolate ice cream, perfect for parties and warm days.

- 1 chocolate cake (prepared and cooled)
- 2 quarts chocolate ice cream
- 1 cup whipped cream
- Chocolate syrup
- Sprinkles
- Fresh fruit (optional)
Instructions
- Start by cutting the cooled chocolate cake in half horizontally.
- Place one layer of the cake in a springform pan.
- Spread a layer of chocolate ice cream over the cake layer.
- Place the second cake layer on top of the ice cream.
- Add another layer of chocolate ice cream on top of the second cake layer.
- Freeze the cake for at least 240 minutes or until solid.
- Remove the cake from the pan and place it on a serving plate.
- Decorate the top with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, and fresh fruit if desired.
- Slice and serve to enjoy your delicious ice cream cake!
Notes
Keep the cake in the freezer and wrap it tight with plastic wrap to prevent ice crystals. Thaw for 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.
