Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, olive oil, orange juice, and orange zest until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
Notes
Use fresh orange juice and zest for the best flavor. Do not over mix the batter to maintain the cake’s light texture.
