Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sheet puff pastry (or homemade croissant dough)
- 2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp peach jam or preserves
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1–2 tbsp milk or cream
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prep the Dough: Roll the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- Add Filling: Spread peach jam over the dough. Layer with peach slices and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Shape the Cruffins: Roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice lengthwise to reveal layers, then twist each half and coil into a greased muffin tin.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.
- Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm cruffins for a glossy finish.
Notes
- If dough becomes too soft, chill it for 10 minutes before shaping.
- For extra flavor, add a dash of nutmeg or a splash of almond extract to the filling.
