Description

These Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls are a fun, easy treat that taste like pecan pie but are much simpler to make. Perfect for gatherings or a sweet snack at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and carefully separate the triangles.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Brush each triangle with melted butter, leaving a little butter aside for later.
  5. Sprinkle a generous amount of the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture over each triangle.
  6. Place a few pecan halves at the wide end of each triangle.
  7. Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end, and secure the pointed end underneath.
  8. Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each roll.
  9. In another small bowl, combine the corn syrup and vanilla extract.
  10. Brush the tops of the rolls with the remaining melted butter, then drizzle the corn syrup mixture on top.
  11. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  12. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes
