Description

Delicious crescent rolls filled with the flavors of pecan pie, perfect for parties or family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and chopped pecans.
  3. Roll out the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end.
  6. Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days, reheat in the oven.
