- 1 can of crescent roll dough
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- In a bowl, mix together the corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and chopped pecans.
- Roll out the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end.
- Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days, reheat in the oven.
