Description

A fun and easy treat combining the flavors of pecan pie with flaky crescent rolls, perfect for dessert or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 tube of crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the pecan filling at the wider end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough tightly around the filling starting from the wide end.
  6. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
