Description

A delightful twist on a classic dessert, combining the rich flavor of pecans with flaky crescent roll crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
  • 1 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tbsp corn syrup (or maple syrup)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix chopped pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, corn syrup (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until combined.
  3. Separate the crescent dough into 8 triangles.
  4. Place 1 tablespoon of the pecan mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll it up tightly and place it tip side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12โ€“15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Optional: Mix the glaze ingredients (powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract) and drizzle it over the warm rolls.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

Best served warm. Can also be enjoyed with a sweet glaze. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
