- 1 can of crescent roll dough
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of corn syrup
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough up, starting from the wide end, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush each roll with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Chop the pecans into small pieces for better mixing. For extra crunch, toast the pecans lightly. Adjust brown sugar for desired sweetness.
