- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar, light corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Set aside 2 tablespoons for glazing.
- Stir chopped pecans into the remaining sugar mixture until fully coated.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of filling onto the widest end of each triangle and roll towards the tip.
- Bake for 8 minutes until the dough starts to set.
- Remove from the oven and brush with the reserved sugar mixture.
- Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with extra chopped pecans if desired before serving.
Notes
Best served warm. Pair with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
