- 1 can crescent roll dough
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- In a bowl, mix chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
- Spoon a small amount of the pecan mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- If desired, brush the tops with egg wash for a golden finish.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm for the best taste. Great on their own or with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or chocolate sauce.
