Description

A fun and easy twist on a classic dessert, these Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls are sweet, nutty, and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. In a bowl, mix chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Spoon a small amount of the pecan mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
  6. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. If desired, brush the tops with egg wash for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
