Description

A fun and easy twist on a classic dessert, these Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls are small, sweet, and packed with nutty flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 rolls) Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (refrigerated dough)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (lightly toasted)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together sugar, light corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, and egg until smooth. Reserve 2 tablespoons of this mixture for glazing.
  3. Stir in the chopped pecans to create a thick, sticky filling.
  4. Unroll crescent dough triangles on the baking sheet. Spoon 2โ€“3 tablespoons of filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll each triangle from the wide end toward the tip, tucking edges underneath. Space rolls about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 8 minutes until lightly golden. Remove and brush with reserved glaze.
  7. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes, until glossy and golden brown.
  8. Optional: Sprinkle extra chopped pecans on top. Cool 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm for a sweet snack or dessert. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
