A fun twist on the classic pecan pie, these crescent rolls are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or corn syrup
- 8 whole pecans for garnish
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir until the mixture is bubbling.
- Add the chopped pecans and stir to coat them well. Remove the saucepan from heat.
- Spoon a small amount of the pecan filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up each crescent from the wide end, tucking in the filling as you go.
- Top each roll with a bit more filling and press a whole pecan on top for a nice look.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and glossy.
- Let the rolls cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftover rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
