A delightful twist on traditional pecan pie, these Pecan Pie Crescents combine crunchy pecans with flaky crescent roll dough for a quick and delicious treat.

- 1 can Crescent roll dough (8-count)
- 1/3 cup Chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup Packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Corn syrup (light or dark)
- 1 tablespoon Melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch Salt
- 1 egg for egg wash (mixed with 1 tablespoon water)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir until mixed.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll up from the wide end to the tip. Pinch the ends to seal.
- Arrange rolls on the baking sheet with space between each. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 10โ12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
These crescents can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature, with options for a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce.
