Description

A delightful twist on traditional pecan pie, these Pecan Pie Crescents combine crunchy pecans with flaky crescent roll dough for a quick and delicious treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 can Crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 1/3 cup Chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup Packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Corn syrup (light or dark)
  • 1 tablespoon Melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1 egg for egg wash (mixed with 1 tablespoon water)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir until mixed.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll up from the wide end to the tip. Pinch the ends to seal.
  5. Arrange rolls on the baking sheet with space between each. Brush with egg wash.
  6. Bake for 10โ€“12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
