Description

A quick and refreshing layered dessert featuring cake, berries, vanilla pudding, and whipped cream.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2 cups vanilla pudding
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup sherry (optional)
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large trifle dish or glass bowl, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
  2. Drizzle with sherry if using.
  3. Next, add half of the mixed berries over the cake.
  4. Spoon half of the vanilla pudding over the berries.
  5. Add a layer of whipped cream on top.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients: cake, berries, pudding, and whipped cream.
  7. Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with mint leaves.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use ripe berries for the best flavor. Drain wet fruit to avoid sogginess.
