A quick and refreshing layered dessert featuring cake, berries, vanilla pudding, and whipped cream.

- 1 pound cake, cut into cubes
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 2 cups vanilla pudding
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1/4 cup sherry (optional)
- Mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a large trifle dish or glass bowl, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
- Drizzle with sherry if using.
- Next, add half of the mixed berries over the cake.
- Spoon half of the vanilla pudding over the berries.
- Add a layer of whipped cream on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients: cake, berries, pudding, and whipped cream.
- Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with mint leaves.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use ripe berries for the best flavor. Drain wet fruit to avoid sogginess.
