- 2 pounds of stew meat
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 4 potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine the stew meat, carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic.
- Pour in the beef broth and add the salt, pepper, thyme, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until the meat and vegetables are tender.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For thicker stew, mix a little cornstarch with water and stir in during the last hour of cooking. Feel free to adjust seasonings to taste.
