- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg

- Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add the sugar and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Beat in the egg.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making a small indent in the center of each.
- Fill each indent with a small amount of strawberry jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
- Let cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
- Optional: dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Soften the butter and cream cheese before mixing for a smoother dough. Use a cookie scoop for even cookie sizes. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or in the fridge for up to a week.
