A light and fruity cake made with box cake mix and topped with cream cheese and whipped cream.

- 1 box white cake mix
- Ingredients required by cake mix (usually water, oil, and eggs)
- 1 cup strawberries, chopped
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the cake mix instructions.
- Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions, adding the chopped strawberries to the batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake as per the cake mix timing.
- While the cake is baking, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Once the cake has cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture on top.
- Top with whipped cream and additional strawberries if desired.
- Serve and enjoy your Strawberry Seismic Cake!
Notes
Use ripe but firm strawberries for best flavor. Can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
