An easy, rich brownie made with three kinds of chocolate, perfect for a weeknight treat.

- 1/2 cup (110g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (180g) semi sweet chocolate chips
- 4 large eggs (200g), room temperature
- 1 cup (210g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (120g) light brown sugar
- 2/3 cup (93g) all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (42g) cocoa powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (180g) chocolate chips of choice + other desired mix-ins
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF and line a 9ร9 inch pan with parchment paper. Spray the paper with cooking spray.
- Melt chopped unsalted butter and chocolate chips together over medium heat in a medium-sized saucepan, stirring constantly.
- In a large bowl, whisk room temperature eggs, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar together until smooth.
- Add the melted butter and chocolate mixture to the sugar mixture and whisk until just combined.
- Incorporate all purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the batter, whisking until the dry ingredients disappear.
- Fold in chocolate chips and other mix-ins until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until the top is shiny with small cracks and a toothpick inserted comes out with some moist crumbs.
Notes
For extra fudgy brownies, reduce the baking time by 5 minutes. Consider adding chopped nuts or espresso powder for variation.
