Description

An easy, rich brownie made with three kinds of chocolate, perfect for a weeknight treat.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (110g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (180g) semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 large eggs (200g), room temperature
  • 1 cup (210g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (120g) light brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup (93g) all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (42g) cocoa powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (180g) chocolate chips of choice + other desired mix-ins

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF and line a 9ร—9 inch pan with parchment paper. Spray the paper with cooking spray.
  2. Melt chopped unsalted butter and chocolate chips together over medium heat in a medium-sized saucepan, stirring constantly.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk room temperature eggs, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar together until smooth.
  4. Add the melted butter and chocolate mixture to the sugar mixture and whisk until just combined.
  5. Incorporate all purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the batter, whisking until the dry ingredients disappear.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and other mix-ins until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes until the top is shiny with small cracks and a toothpick inserted comes out with some moist crumbs.

Notes

For extra fudgy brownies, reduce the baking time by 5 minutes. Consider adding chopped nuts or espresso powder for variation.
