Description

These warm and comforting pecan crescent rolls are easy to make and perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert, featuring a sweet pecan filling and soft dough.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional, for icing)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (optional, for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon.
  4. Spoon a small amount of the pecan mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up the triangles from the wide end to the pointed end.
  6. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. If desired, mix powdered sugar with milk to create icing and drizzle over the warm rolls before serving.

Notes

Make sure the butter is melted but not too hot. You can substitute walnuts for pecans or add chocolate chips for variation.
