Description

A quick and easy orange sauce that pairs perfectly with chicken, using just three ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Put the orange juice, soy sauce, and honey in a bowl.
  2. Stir until the honey blends and the mix looks smooth.
  3. Use the sauce to marinate raw chicken for 15–30 minutes, or skip the marinate and add it while you cook.
  4. Heat a skillet on medium. Add a little oil. Add chicken pieces and cook until they get color.
  5. Pour the sauce into the pan. Stir and let it heat and thicken a bit. Cook until the chicken is done and the sauce coats the chicken.

Notes

Taste the sauce before you cook and add a bit more honey if you like it sweeter. For more zip, add a small pinch of red pepper flakes.
