- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and coat each piece thoroughly in the flour mixture.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the chicken in a single layer without crowding.
- Spray the top of the chicken lightly with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
- Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
Notes
