Description

A simple and healthy roasted cauliflower dish that makes an excellent side or base for a variety of meals.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional toppings: grated cheese, breadcrumbs, or herbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower and cut it into bite-sized florets.
  3. Toss the florets in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well-coated.
  4. Spread the cauliflower on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and tender.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese or breadcrumbs for the last 5 minutes of baking if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze the roasted florets.
