Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set it aside.
- Beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and smooth in another bowl.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract, and instant espresso powder. Mix until well combined.
- Incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gradually until fully blended.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft. Let cool before transferring to a wire rack.
